SoCal Tattoo & Piercing is always interested in connecting with talented tattoo artists and professional piercers who are looking for the right place to work in San Diego. We're an established Main Street tattoo shop with more than 35 years of tattoo experience behind its ownership and a crew built around different styles, personalities and approaches to the craft. We're not looking to fill chairs just to fill chairs. We're interested in artists who bring something to the shop, take their work seriously and want to be part of a crew without losing their individual identity.

Whether you're an established San Diego artist looking for a change, relocating to Southern California, or ready to find a shop where you can continue building your clientele and your work, we'd like to see what you do.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're interested in experienced tattoo artists and professional piercers who are reliable, professional with clients and serious about their craft. A strong portfolio matters, but so does how you work with people and how you fit into a working shop.

Different styles are welcome. Black & Grey, Realism, Traditional, Japanese, Fine Line, Anime, Lettering, Color, illustrative work and specialties we don't already have enough of can all bring something valuable to the SoCal lineup.

Most importantly, bring your own style. We aren't trying to build a shop where everybody tattoos the same way.

BUILT FOR WORKING ARTISTS

This is where I'd have Kenny tell us the actual benefits so we don't invent anything. We can turn them into a strong section covering things such as chair arrangements, scheduling flexibility, walk in traffic, supplies, promotion, booking support, social media exposure, clientele, shop atmosphere and whatever SoCal actually provides its artists.

ALREADY ESTABLISHED? LET'S TALK.

You don't have to be actively looking for another shop to introduce yourself.

If you're an experienced artist or piercer and think SoCal could be a good fit, send us your portfolio, Instagram or social links, specialties, experience and a little about what you're looking for in a shop.

Conversations can stay discreet.
